On 13 October, 2014 we changed the name of Arka Platinum Conservative sub-fund (from the previous one: Arka BZ WBK Bond Plus) and its investment policy. Therefore, the results of the sub-fund before that date were achieved under conditions no longer applicable.

On 9 September, 2018 we changed the name of Santander Platinum Conservative sub-fund.

Summary of the investment policy

  • the mixed sub-fund which invests locally and globally – foreign investments may be up to 40% of assets,

  • from 60% to 100% of assets can be invested directly in money market instruments and debt securities denominated mainly in PLN, issued by the State Treasury and companies, as well as participation units or certificates of bond funds,

  • the sub-fund invests up to 20% of its assets directly in shares or participation units and certificates of equity funds,

  • max. 20% of assets can be invested in corporate bonds, and 10% of assets may be invested in bonds issuers without an investment rating,

  • duration ratio of debt part of the sub-fund should not exceed 8,

  • the sub-fund is actively managed: its portfolio nor performance may not reflect portfolio of the benchmark and its performance may be significantly different from performance of the benchmark. The sub-fund may invest in securities off the benchmark.

Overview of the investment process

In Santander TFI, the investment process relies on the competence of the Investment Committee and of the individual sub-fund managers. The Investment Committee composed of all managers approves financial instruments for inclusion in the sub-fund portfolios and makes strategic decisions regarding portfolios under management. Sub-fund managers decide about target shares of individual instruments in the portfolios.

The sub-fund cannot guarantee achievement of the investment objective or of the expected return on investment. The Participant should take into consideration the possibility of losing at least some of the invested capital.

The sub-fund can invest more than 35% of its assets in securities issued, guaranteed or underwritten by the State Treasury or the National Bank of Poland.
