On January 4, 2021 we changed the name of Santander Prestiż Global Fixed Income sub-fund (from the previous one: Santander Prestiż Global Corporate Bond) and its investment policy. Therefore, the results of the sub-fund before that date were achieved under conditions no longer applicable.

Summary of the investment policy

  • the sub-fund invests up to 100% of the assets value in the shares of Santander GO Dynamic Bond sub-fund, a compartment of the Santander SICAV, an open-end investment fund with variable capital domiciled in Luxembourg. Santander GO Dynamic Bond sub-fund has no benchmark and actively invests in debt instruments mainly in developed markets using derivatives and financial leverage to a large extent. Its average duration that is - the sensitivity of the Santander Go Dynamic Bond sub-fund's portfolio to interest rate changes, can move flexibly between positive and negative values,

  • the manager intends to maintain constant high exposure to the shares of Santander Prestiż Global Fixed Income sub-fund, in the range of 80% to 100% of assets,

  • the sub-fund, as a rule, hedges FX risk.

Overview of the investment process

In Santander TFI, the investment process relies on the competence of the Investment Committee and of the individual sub-fund managers. The Investment Committee composed of all managers approves financial instruments for inclusion in the sub-fund portfolios and makes strategic decisions regarding portfolios under management. Sub-fund managers decide about target shares of individual instruments in the portfolios.
